Riders!
After the global release of KartRider Rush+,
we’ve recognized that some players were having trouble with their direction
keys and how they weren’t functioning properly in-game. First, we’d like to
apologize for the inconvenience that this issue has caused you.
The developers are currently looking into the
cause and fix of this problem.
We will first announce the issues we’ve found and certain ways to fix them.

Solution
Q1:
The direction keys and drift key are displayed in red color and I can’t drift.
I have to press it again to turn the keys back to their clear state.
A:
If the time between [Short Drift] and [Drift] is too short while you pull off a
[Short Drag], the drift button is
deactivated and turns red. The drift button will stay red, during which the
kart body is considered to be in a ‘stopped state’, until the buttons are
touched once again.
S:
To avoid this problem, you must [Drift]
only after the [Short Drift] has been completed. Please don’t feel the need to
rush the drift sequences.
Q2:
Pulling off a drift motion two times consecutively while doing [Double Drift]
or [Short Drag], it feels as though I’ve failed at the two skills. The keys do
not turn red, but the drift skills do not plan out as intended.
A:
As mentioned in Q1, if you press the drift button two times with barely any
time in between, a skill-freeze would occur then a quick [Cut Drift] follows
suit. This would turn the buttons red and result in an error.
If you cut the [Cut Drift] short however (all puns intended lol!), and press
the drift key, the button will not turn red but you would feel the skill-freeze
moment and lose control.
Please also note that the mechanism of the [Double Drift] does not allow you to
put much time in between your drifts, nor can you pull off the same drift with
barely any time in between.
S:
To pull off a [Double Drift] properly, you must keep certain amount of time in
between your drifts when you drifting into the same direction.
Q3:
Why am I failing to drift in the opposite direction right after drifting to
another.
A:
The directional change for drifting into the opposite direction after having
drifted into one direction is intended to be slow. This may feel like an error
while it is not.
S:
You must drift up to a certain angle before pulling off another drift into the
opposite direction.
Q4:
Direction keys do not work while pulling off a [Jump Drift].
A:
It is intended that direction keys are not supposed to work during a [Jump
Drift].
Q5:
When changing directions during a drift, why does my kart act as if I’ve pulled
off a [Double Drift] into another direction.
A:
The Left and Right direction keys are right next to each other. And since the
touchscreens of phones are usually capacitive, they might be affected by the
state of your fingers. If your fingers are sweaty, the touchscreen might have
trouble understanding your intentions. The size and sweatiness of fingers may
cause confusion to the receptors and that in turn may lead to you swerving into
opposite directions.
S:
If you are having trouble steering, please go to [Settings] > [Controls]
> [Custom 1] in order to change the placement of your controls.
Q6:
I’m having trouble playing while charging my phone at the same time.
A:
Capacitive touchscreens of your phones detect your conductive touches of your
fingers, meaning that the reception of the touches may be affected by different
factors including static, temperature, and humidity. Please note that charging
your phone may affect the static detection of your touchscreen.
S:
We suggest that you do not play the game while charging your phone.
Q7:
My devices get heated and my touches won’t work.
A:
As mentioned in Q6, the capacitive touchscreens will detect the high
temperature of your device, and your input may fail in certain situations. The
development team are trying their best to optimize the game application to
reduce the heating of devices.
Q8:
My touches won’t work (for curved screens and for full screens).
A:
Please note that other parts of your skin may touch your screen without you
realizing. This is susceptible to Riders using devices with curved screens and
full screens.
Q9:
(Touch) Reception disconnections are appearing for 1 to 2 seconds, or the
buttons won’t react when pressing the control keys for a long time. [For
certain devices]
