I am Chief PD of Blue Archive, Yong Ha Kim.
Blue Archive was released in Korea last year on November 9th, and it's already been half a year since then.
We would like to sincerely thank you for your continued support.
This May, we're showcasing both in-game and out of game events weekly for our 0.5-Year Anniversary Festival. We hope you've been enjoying them so far.
Blue Archive's first Merch Bundle, being revealed yesterday, has undergone meticulous trial and error and care, and I've personally grown rather attached to it.
So, I'm excited to continue to introduce various merch further down the line as well.
After our 100-Day Celebration Event, we prepared more than 200 online digital merch items for the 0.5-Year Anniversary.
We will continue to diversify our designs and items and put our efforts into creating a Blue Archive environment that reaches our Senseis.
In addition, please look forward to the closing stages of our 0.5-Year Anniversary Festival, as we ramp up with high-quality content we believe our Senseis will be satisfied with.
We, the Dev Team, consider our 0.5-Year Anniversary events to be important, but, as promised in our last development letter,
we will always place developing and providing content updates as our top priority.
Therefore, we would like to take this opportunity to introduce some of the content that will be part of the May 31st (Tue) update.
First is the addition of the game mode Scrimmage.
In this game mode, you can compete with students from Trinity, Gehenna, and Millennium Academy.
You can earn Growth Materials as you experience the unexpected aspects of the enemy students.
Next is the details of the new Tactical Challenge Season.
Our Dev Team carefully listened to the feedback from our Senseis regarding issues during this Tactical Challenge Season 2.
As previously mentioned, if Season 3 begins right away on May 31st (Tue), the duration of Season 2 will end up being shorter.
We discussed internally how to address the concern that this could decrease the usefulness of certain characters due to the rapid changes in the terrain.
In the end, we decided to keep "Field Warfare" as the terrain during the early phases of the next season.
Following the July 26th (Tue) Update, the season will not change and only the terrain will be adjusted to "Indoor" in order to minimize any inconvenience to our Senseis.
Next is the early addition of certain convenience features.
To begin, there will be improvements to the Auto Select method for Growth Materials. We will also be adding a feature that allows Senseis to easily check the amount of material items they have. Several other convenience features will be added alongside these.
We will continue to develop these convenience features features as quickly as we can to provide a seamless gameplay experience.
Further details regarding the May 31st (Tue) update, including the items mentioned above, will be officially announced in a separate post.
Once again, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Senseis who continue to love and support Blue Archive.
We hope you enjoy the rest of the 0.5-Year Anniversary Festival!
