Players using the Android device can update the game to a new version through the Google Play store. 

For players using the iOS device, you can update the game to a new version after the market release.

We will announce when iOS device players can update the game to the new version via this notice.

An update for MARVEL Battle Lines is scheduled for Thursday, April 25th.

Get ready for a bigger and better MARVEL Battle Lines experience!

[Update Maintenance Announcement] 

■ Maintenance Schedule: Thu 4/25 01:30 AM – 07:30 AM (6 hours)(UTC+0)

■ Maintenance Effect: The game will be unavailable while it undergoes maintenance.

[Update Contents]

1. 85 new Battleworld season cards added

• 85 new Battleworld season cards will be officially introduced to MARVEL Battle Lines.

Create amazing new decks and form spectacular new teams!

• Legendary tier cards added

- The new highest tier, Legendary, added.

- Battleworld season cards include new Legendary cards.

* The above Battleworld season cards can be obtained from the Shop or in-game as rewards after the update on Thursday 4/25.

2. 8 new deck leaders added

• 8 new deck leaders will be added to MARVEL Battle Lines.

- Obtain the new deck leaders using the methods listed below.

3. New Blitz mode officially introduced

It's time to introduce the hardcore real-time PVP mode that gets the heart pumping, the palms sweating, and the knees shaking – Blitz!

• The first official Blitz season will held after maintenance on Thursday, 4/25.

• Blitz will open when reached level 8, and can be played from [Home] → [Blitz]

• In Blitz mode, character and action cards appear in the order that they're placed in the deck.

Summoned characters will automatically battle enemy characters.

• Some cards are prohibited in Blitz mode, even if they're in [My Cards].

Also, card stats are altered when in Blitz mode.

• Deck leader special abilities do not apply in Blitz mode.

• There are a total of 6 tiers(Blitz 1~6) in Blitz.

• Reach the star requirement for each level to get promoted to the next level.

- In Blitz, players earn 1 star for each win, and lose 1 star for each loss.

- You can earn 1 more star when win consecutively.

- You can be promoted to the next tier when you acquire all the required stars for each tier.

*There is no tier season reward in Blitz.

• Victories in Blitz will be rewarded with cards, Arena Points, Gold, and EXP.

• A detailed look at Blitz mode can be found on the FAQ page.

4. Daily Missions Updated

• The previous Daily Missions menu has been replaced with Achievements.

• There are 3 types of achievements – Daily, Normal, and Event. They are accessible from [Home] → [Achievements].

- Daily Achievements: Updated daily with new achievements. Progress resets at 6:00 AM daily.

 - Normal Achievements: These do not reset. Earning these achievements is rewarded with Titles.

- Event Achievements: Only available during the event period. Achievements are reset when the event ends.

• You can now use the Receive All button to collect all available rewards at once.

5.Title System Added

• The Title system is a brand new way to show off your hard-won victories.

• The Thursday 4/25 update will introduce 49 new titles. (Thanos' Match, Bargain Hunter, Fast as Lightning etc.)

• You can earn Titles as completed reward of the Normal Achievements from the [Achievement] menu, and You can select 1 of your earned titles to be displayed above your nickname.

• Your selected title will be displayed above your character's name from [Home] and on leaderboards.

• Multiple titles can be owned, but only one can be equipped.

Titles are not mandatory, so you don't have to equip one.

- [Home] → Tap [Titles] → Select the Title you want to use or turn off the Titles for your character

6. Horde Mode Updated

- In Horde mode, you fight to save the Triskelion, a S.H.I.E.L.D. base that's in grave danger.

Fight against an endless horde of enemies by clearing each wave (1-70 wave).

• Secret Passage mode has been added to Horde mode, allowing you to quickly complete waves that were previously cleared.

 - Use Secret Passage to directly access the last wave you cleared.

 - Secret Passage can only get you up to wave 50.

   Ex. Even if you previously cleared up to wave 70, using Secret Passage will only get you up to wave 51.

 - Use 10 gems at the Horde mode Battle Start screen to use the Secret Passage function.

• Some Horde mode rewards have been adjusted.

 - Clearing waves 50, 55, 60, 65, and 70 can earn you a Legendary card at random.

7. Card Collection Updates

• 4 new [team] collections added.

  - 4 new team codices: The Black Order, Inhumans, Young Avengers, Movie: Avengers: Endgame

  - New team codex Movie: Avengers: Endgame shares Team Synergy with the previous Avengers team.

    This is why the Movie: Avengers: Endgame codex's emblem is the same as the previous Avengers team emblem.

    Ex. If 'Iron Man' and 'Iron Man (Team Suit)' are summoned together on the battlefield, a Team Synergy boost will be applied.

• New Battleworld cards will be updated in the codex, and the Battleworld season will be added to the [Seasons] tab.

• Monsters of Battleworld, invading creatures who only follow their survival instinct, will be added to the [Minions] tab.

8. Other rewards updated

• Defeat enemies to earn rewards in some modes.

 - Applicable Modes: Special Ops, Story, Challenge, Arena, Horde Mode, Blitz, and Trials

- You can earn one type of reward among Gold, EXP, and cards.

* The character card reward is not a fixed reward. You will have a random chance of obtaining a defeated enemy's character card.

 * Some defeated enemy’s character cards that are specially summoned on the Special Ops, Story or other modes can not be acquired as a card reward 

• Challenge/Arena daily mail rewards adjusted as shown below.

9. Shop Updated

• Vault Keys have been added, allowing you to open The Collector's Vault.

[Vault Key Introduction]

• You can open each Collector’s Vault with the Vault Key and there are different types of key per each Vault You can also open the Vault with ‘Gems’ when you are short of keys.

[Vault Key Types]

•  There are multiple types of Vault Key – Basic Vault Key for opening basic vaults, and other keys for each type of vault. When the vault sales period ends, the related vault key will disappear.

Ex. Basic Vault can only be opened with Basic Vault Key,

and the Asgard Vault can only be opened with an Asgard Vault Key.

Also, all Asgard Vault Key in your inventory will disappear once the Asgard Vault sale period ends.

• After the Thursday 4/25 update, you can only earn Basic Vault Keys in game and other keys can be earned from buying packages added on the later update so we will make a seperated further notice on this.

• There are 4 tabs in Shop. (Tabs: Special Products, Cards Pack, Recharge and Mode Shop)

- Have you had trouble scrolling through the Shop to find the product you want?

We hope your shopping experience improves with 4 tabs implemented with the Thursday 4/25 update.

• Shop reset time will change from 9PM to 7PM.

• A larger variety of cards will be made available in the Mode Points Shop.

• Some products in the Shops will also be updated.

- You will now be able to obtain free Basic Vault Key daily.

  * With Basic Vault Key, you can open Basic Vault in The Collector's Vault.

 - The Single Card Pack that can be bought with Mode points and Free Gold charge menu will be removed.

- As new season ‘BATTLEWORLD’ cards are added, some products are renewed so Premium Card Pack (Entire Season) sale period will be ended.

10. Other updates and fixes

[Blitz and Arena's unlock requirements changed upon Thur 4/25 update]

11. UI Modified

• When auto-clearing Special Ops, additional auto-clear order and count adjusted.

• Delete and Copy buttons added next to deck names in [My Cards].

• Add Friends and Copy Deck buttons added to other players' profiles.

  * To copy a deck, you must own at least 9 of that deck's cards.

• Autoplay and Skip functions added

- During a stage, you can now use the Autoplay button for dialogue and VFX.

  You can also use the Skip button on the bottom right to proceed.
